Sunday Afternoon ShackReviews
by Alec Matias, Oct 03, 2004 10:00am PDTFinally, a ShackReviews update that doesn't take up my entire morning. Looks like if you're a sports nut, plenty to choose from with two b-ball games, two racers, and a boxer thrown in for good measure. The ESPN/EA Sports rivalry is reheated with both camps putting out their NBA titles; which one do you guys believe takes the cake? As always, if there's a game you want in the database, see if it's already there and if not, request it!

If I am not mistatken even a little known strategy game by the name of gladius had a similar feature. Still Star Ocean 3 combat system is even more fun IMHO, but SH2 is more gritty (cool alternate WWI background story)... at least when compared with FFX (and lets not even go to FFX-2).
My 2 cents.

Every time you attack, you get a circular attack meter, and if you time your button presses, you can do more powerful attacks. Actually, the attack meter reminded me more of the swing meter in most golf games.
In conclusion, i think they should've rebranded the game as "Lee Travino's Haunted Mansion"
Or at least, it has been for me this weekend.
Although I guess the term "under the weather" doesn't have quite the same meaning down in Florida that it does up here in NYC. ;)
