Plenty of talk going on with the NDS and PStwo. I think what is catching many people's eyes are the rumored prices. For the PStwo, despite being redesigned to reduce production costs, word is that it will launch at $149, the current going price for a PlayStation 2. While there'll no doubt be those that buy it for the looks, as many did for the Halo green Xboxes, how can Sony expect to greater increase their market share by selling at the current price point? As for the Nintendo DS, retailer sources have been consistent with a $200 price tag. I expect the hardcore crowd to buy any new hardware at any price point, but how can Nintendo get the masses to adopt a portable that is greater in price than any of the available home consoles? Lets hope these are the kind of "heavy rumors" that are much ado about nothing.

GBASP Tri-Force GBA SP Finally, a GBA SP worth importing! Nintendo announced plans to give European gamers the chance to purchase a special gold GBA SP emblazoned with the Tri-Force symbol. It's part of a combo pack with The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. A similar promotion will be offered when Mario vs. Donkey Kong is released (pic at Planet GameCube).
