Some people say he was fired from id.
All joking aside, I hope the game (whenever it\'s released) turns out really well, and I hope Romero learns from this experience and goes on to create the stunning, epic games we all know he\'s capable of.
I think that most of the anti-Romero sentiment is based on the false perception that he \"betrayed id\" by leaving.
