How funny; last night I'm talking about how lucky we are with delays and Obsidian proves my point by pushing UP the release date of a hugely anticipated title. Don't they understand the holiday season is tough enough as it is? Ah well, it's a good problem to have. The big news of the day, though, is quite the relief. NICO's coming and you guys can stop messaging me about it. =D Much props to Shacker My Documents for bringing the story here first.

PS2 NICO No Longer a Rumor The moment many of you have been waiting for: the sequel to the cult-hit ICO is finally confirmed. Officially titled Wanda and the Colossus, the game appears at first glance to NOT be a direct sequel to ICO. This time around, the protagonist is a young man who travels with his horse as they battle giant ancient beasts, the Colossus creatures, on the path to find a way to revive a dead girl named Wanda. The game is being handled by the same team as ICO, however no other details are available at the moment.
Xbox KOTOR II Pushed Up to December Obsidian Entertainment announced that the sequel to last year's Game of the Year thirty times over, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, will land on the Xbox in December of this year. The game's producer, Mike Gallo, commented, "We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords. We recently completed a very important milestone which confirmed we can confidently do this."
PS2 Xbox Dave Attell Plays Commentator for Outlaw Golf 2 The man you frequently see walking around large cities in the middle of the night drunk as a skunk, Dave Attell, will be providing the color commentary for the upcoming Outlaw Golf 2. In Misc. Media, there's a video link to hear a bit of his voicework.
PS2 Xbox GCN THUG 2 Preorder Bonus Activision revealed that those who preorder the upcoming Tony Hawk's Underground 2 will receive a special bonus: the "Complete Sessions" DVD. The disc is all skateboardin' goodness which also includes interviews with the Neversoft development team and coverboy Tony Hawk. A clip of the DVD can be found within the link.
Xbox Bungie Weekly Update What a surprise, another Bungie Weekly Update! Who would have guessed? In this week's entry, Frankie brings a warning of utmost importance: don't watch the preorder DVD until you finish the game first; "...then you should be aware that the DVD that accompanies the game contains tons of spoilers. Seriously, big-time spoilers that could ruin the plot."
