  • this is a bit of a tangent, but I thought that Escape From St.Louis New York would have made a good Doom premise. I mean, Snake gets all his weapons in the beginning, he has go into the "world" which is totally alien, he wanders around an sees baddies, he gets communication from a Sergent/Bob Hauk.

Hell, he doesnt even know what to do at times and wanders over to the President's crash site/Quake II pod anyone and sits down! He has to fight a couple of bosses guy in the ring/Duke of New York and there is the climactic escape in the end.

I dunno, a purely action type movie with a thin plot could be done... although with this announcement it certainally doesnt sound good >:(
