I consider this good news. With Anthony Anderson and Tom Arnold just riffing at the end, how can they go wrong? They don't even need to have characters in the film, just roll the credits over them and let 'em do their thing. Comedy COPPER!

I don't like to speak ill of people, but 'Romeo must die' was one of the worst action movie I had seen in a while. :/

The saddest part is that it will sooo get PG-13'd. :(

And I really wanted to see some imp gibs. The problem is the game gives them an excuse to put absolutely no gore in the movie, if they can manage it, because the enemies disnitegrate instead of getting wasted the good old fashioned way.

this is a bit of a tangent, but I thought that Escape From St.Louis New York would have made a good Doom premise. I mean, Snake gets all his weapons in the beginning, he has go into the "world" which is totally alien, he wanders around an sees baddies, he gets communication from a Sergent/Bob Hauk.

Hell, he doesnt even know what to do at times and wanders over to the President's crash site/Quake II pod anyone and sits down! He has to fight a couple of bosses guy in the ring/Duke of New York and there is the climactic escape in the end.

I dunno, a purely action type movie with a thin plot could be done... although with this announcement it certainally doesnt sound good >:(
