Maps made with the stripped down editor won't ever be included in any noteworthy map packs, and they probably won't win any acclaim either.
As a matter of fact, I do believe that if this game gets an active mapping community, this edtior might end up being an annoyance, more than anything else as we'll be forced to look through 10 shit maps for every original and fun map.
Naturally, if they allow us to include our own static meshes into the stripped editor, I will probably end up complaining a whole let less. :)

Thank god. I thought it would only ship with the stripped down idiot editor. This is a good thing.
DE did a good job with UT2003 IMO, it will be interesting to see what they do with a single player game. I am hopeful.
