Tribes: Vengeance Preview

The lates Tribes: Vengeance preview can be found at Gaming Groove, where they have taken the beta build of the game for a spin. The Unreal engine powered action game sequel is expected to be out in stores in October.

Haha, what a ridiculous review.

"get a fatal error that crashes me to my desktop"
- Probably because servers were not enabled in 04.

"[Comparison of Light Armor]"
- Medium armor.

"Updated in 05 was the Skiing code, now you press space bar and you actually just slice across the surface"
- Same as it was in 04...03......

"mines are back, ... drop it, it does not disappear like in the original Tribes"
- Mines disappeared in Tribes?

I could do this all day, this guy is clueless to the Series.

  I myself like it a lot EXCEPT for the fact that you follow the hill's slope way too much. You'd know what I mean if you played it.

    I agree, I don't like how it tries to suck you downhill. Skiing around a bowl shape in the previous games, you could stick to the rim and pop out the other side, in T:V it seems to want to pull you into the center of the bowl. Overall I like the skiing though, it has a new feel to it, but it is easy to get used to and still feels like a Tribes game to me.
