now, in cs, the aim seems anything but consistent. i can be standing *completely* still, crouching, and zoomed in with the sig, and miss 7/10 shots with the sig from the terrorist ramp to the ct boxes under the bridge. the next round, i buy a deagle, and attempt the same ranged shot, and nail the dude in the head within two shots.
wtf?
another round, a ct is camping with a scout in between two barrels. i rush around the corner full speed running and let off two shots with the ak, nail him in the head. 10 seconds later, i completely miss another ct that is ducking 10ft in front of me after unloading about 10 shots into him.
i truly don't understand this games "recoil" and "aim". it seems random as fuck. I really want to enjoy this game.. i used to until the new netcode made for hpb's. i did very well in cs during the 1.0 days.. now i can't seem to keep any kind of consitency with my aim.
does anyone else feel this way? what the fuck am i doing wrong?...sorry, a little frustrated after so much random spray and pray shit

There's a map pack for CS:S beta, called CS Ports, that CS2world.com had for download. Well, so many people downloaded it, it overloaded their server and they took it down. Other people are trying to desperately get it, like off various bt sites, but it sounds like some people are just ending up with cd-key stealers, from the way people described it.
("I'm not sure if this is the patch, or not, but it says needs mswinsck.dll every time, and I can't get it to work.")
What reason would there be for a simple patch program to do ANYTHING with winsock?

Hilarious stuff ensued. I think there was one round I was in with over 15 bombs placed. The last CT ran in and was like... WTF? And then five went off - one right after the other.. then a few seconds.. then two more.. lol.
A few rounds however, the bomb site was still burning (there are big flames now, for those who haven't seen it yet) in the next round. Or you'd see the shacking of another explosion just at the beginning of a round..
I guess I can unbind "buy c4" now. Hilarious stuff.
