Apple Computer Inc. has agreed to recall about 28,000 batteries used in its 15-inch PowerBook G4 laptop computers, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday.
The batteries, made by LG Chem Ltd. of South Korea, could overheat and pose a fire hazard to consumers, the CPSC said. Apple received four reports of these batteries overheating, though no injuries have been reported.

f.e. your steaminstall is in c:\steam
1. Exit Steam
2. Delete c:\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike source beta
3. Start Steam
4. Run CSS => memory error. OK, so far, so fine.
5. Exit Steam and wait until its fully unloaded.
6. COPY (not rename!) c:\steam\servers\serverbrowser.dll to serverbrowser.org
7. COPY c:\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike source beta\bin\ServerBrowser.dll to c:\steam\servers\serverbrowser.dll and OVERWRITE it
8. Make a new Dir called "Servers" in c:\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike source beta\
9. COPY c:\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike source beta\bin\ServerBrowser.dll to c:\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike source beta\Servers\ServerBrowser.dll
10. Start Steam
11. Start CSS hopefully without memory error.
The error is caused by serverbrowsers.dll thats almost sure. There is some strange behaviour when trying the different DLLs that (i think) caused by windows and that the old dll is still in memory. Cause auf that you should overwrite the old file and not renamed. In my tests I was able to rename a locked file, but not to delete ist.
You can try to restart the PC after the copy action, too.
All Serverbrowsers.dll should be the same version.

I posted this a few days ago, but I figured I would again in case someone who'd enjoy it didn't see.
My band just finished our first recording a few days ago, and I'd like to share two songs with you all. Our name is Blackbody Locus and we're based out of Baltimore, Maryland. I play guitar. I'd say we're "melodic death", as the kids are calling it these days, with a little extra groove thrown in.

I forgot to mention last time that this is a demo recording, so it's definitely not perfect (nor is it meant to be). Yes, I know some levels are a bit off and some of the timing is as well, but considering ALL the instruments were tracked in one day (drums, bass, 2 guitars, vocals), I'd say it came out fucking marvelous, especially considering the complexity of the parts.
Having said that, feel free to tell me how much it sucks. Opinions are expected and welcome. Enjoy.

I changed my Amazon.com email adresse and I had just ordered something tonight(hadn't orderd in ages and wanted it to my gmail account) and now i can't check my order status. I still have emails but common, theres nothing about it anywhere on amazon.com

That's the prime candidate, since an Allen & Heath Xone62 is a helluva lot larger, more expensive, and lacks effects send/return. I was also eyeing the Denon X400, which had only one VU meter (assignable though), and didn't have an intuitive effects wet/dry mix (or possibly none at all). Thoughts?

Detective Agency"?

First of all you need to know something about Coleridge. There was
never a second part of the poem _Kubla Khan_. Yet, at the end of
Chapter 6 when The Director Of English Studies is reading _Kubla
Khan_ the book says `The voice (that of the director of english
studies) continues, reading the second, and altogether strange
part of the poem.'
In the book, _Kubla Khan_ has a second part. The book is not
actually set in our existance. It is set in an existance in which
the second part of _Kubla Khan_ exists. This second part of the
poem tells the ghost about the existance of the time machine and
how to travel back and stop the ship from exploding. As we well
know the explosion of the ship is what caused life to begin on
this miserable little planet of ours. When Dirk and Reg realised
this they simply went forward in time to when Coleridge was
writing the second part of _Kubla Khan_ and stopped him. Dirk just
interrupted him and talked so much that Coleridge forgot what the
second part was going to be about and therefore could not finish
it! This change of history sent reality back into our perspective
and the human race lived on (Yay, yippee!).
Quite simple really.

The second part of KK was written by Coleridge *while possesed by
the ghost* and is the ghost providing info, not the other way
around. I think the info is about the ship that is still in orbit
around Earth.
By confusing Coleridge (and introducing the albatross that then
appears in the Ancient Mariner), Dirk got rid of the directions to
find the orbiting spaceship (which they also sabotaged, but not
until Reg had stolen some music [by bringing Bach there?]). Since
they aparently had access to suitable explosives (the spaceship
blew up in such a spectacular fashion that it could be seen from
Earth), maybe it was also they who sabotaged the ghost's shuttle
so that it all got started, too?

I just finished the audiobook but for some reason the ending made little sense to me. I think I missed some critical point but I can just relisten to the whole thing again to figure it out. Someone spoil the ending for me please.
I understand bascially that they spoke with Coleridge and had him change the story which somehow made Michael not be suspectible to the ghost I think, what I didn't pick up was what exactly did Dirk talk him into changing?
