Missed this one in the Neverwinter Nights 2 post yesterday, GameSpy also has a Q&A about the game. Obsidian's Feargus Urquhart is asked about a level cap, inspiration, how work is broken up between BioWare and Obsidian, adding to the toolset, importance of user created content and a few other things.

  • Hmm...I really like all the work that the old Black Isle guys have done, and I love Bioware (I'm a friggin' fanboy, for cryin' out loud!), but I'm not 100% sure if I have faith in what this game will turn out to be if it is just a high-poly spruced-up version of NWN in the Aurora engine.

I *REALLY* hope that the engine has a LOT more enhancments now...

I think someone was talking about what they wanted for the engine...

A real z-axis, the inclusion of every skill out there...a real D&D experience...

As much as I liked NWN (not the OC), and all the expansions, I really felt it was missing a few things that would give me a real pen & paper D&D experience.

    Ulp.
