  No, it was made by Vrenna, it just sounds exactly like a Tool song (Lateralus). There was some misunderstanding about this when Trent Reznor (who was previously involved in Doom 3) said something on his website regarding Tool doing the Doom 3 theme song, but that was simply a crack at Vrenna.
