S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Delay
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 29, 2004 5:24pm PDTAs part of their latest financial statement for the fiscal 2005 first quarter THQ today announced a delay for S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl. The game was originally scheduled for a late 2004 release, but that's been changed to a release during the first quarter of 2005. THQ does not want to launch the game against the likes of Halo 2 and thinks it will get a better opportunity to do well early next year.
