as long as the deisgners seem more interested in putting in name brand clothes and shoes than the gameplay I will have nothing but contempt for this game. Anyway it's almost certainly going to suck regardless of how they advertise it.

With at least a few months of beta testing still ahead, I wasn't looking for a polished game, but I did want further reassurance that the Monolith team has and is implementing a vision that is The Matrix. In that regard, suffice it to say I left the studio with even more enthusiasm than I had upon arrival.

this + all of the good press it got at E3 = FUCKING NOVEMBER, HURRY UP AND GET HERE ALREADY

They'd better dump this game or its gonna just fail. The Matrix hype is over and the MMOLOTSOFLETTERS hype is already on its way out of the door. This game wont be able to compete with WoW and EQ2. MMOs need players paying the bills to keep them alive. The people just arent going to be there for this game. Its gonna be one of those things where Matrix fans will buy the game, realize it isnt that great, and cancel during the first month or so.

Just checked out some old GameSpy news... Integration with AIM? That's a quite neat feature, but why couldn't they have integrated Trillian or something so you could use either of the popular IMs?
