Artifact Files For Chapter 11

GameSpot is reporting that Horizons developer Artifact Entertainment has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Horizons will keep running while the company tries to look for a way to get out of its finacial mess, either through restructuring debt or selling the company.

I played for around a month.

I sorely regretted leaving Anarchy Online for this.

I don't know how many of you followed Horizons from the very beginning, but here's a little story that might explain why it didn't work.

Who knows if this is more true than the other versions we've heard, but it could explain how something that everyone thought was a good idea could tank a company in just a few months.

Hey...don't bag on AE...Horizon's is the only MMO that features absolutely nothing to do, guranteed weekly bug additions, and bi-weekly events that don't work or are oriented to one type of character only!

Too bad too...Dragons are awesome as a playable race.
