Two DOOM related articles on HomeLAN Fed this morning as JCal talked with Steven Kent about his upcoming The Making of DOOM 3 book and Kevin Wilson of Fantasy Flight Games about that company's DOOM board game.

    Wahoo, another DOOM book. Hopefully it will be as good as - or better than - Masters of DOOM, which was very interesting but ultimately a bit too loose and disjointed for my tastes.

      really? I loved masters of doom, i think i've read it about three times, the author did a great job portraying john and john and who they where, very intresting.

        I liked it too, don't get me wrong. I felt like it started moving pretty quickly near the end, however. But I suppose that's the way it goes as a historical narrative approaches the present.

        I'm very interested to read the book which is the subject of the news post. Should be candy for an armchair industry watcher like me. :-)

      yeah but almost no mention of Raven... I missed hearing about their relationship to id and nearly parallel successes.
