Phew, I finally broke my Ikaruga high score of over a month ago.

5,789,800 points without continuing; made it to Chapter 4-2.
I know, I suck :(

Earlier today I made it all the way to Chapter 4 with 3 remaining ships (I only died once on the third boss, and I had earned one extra life) which is pretty unheard of for me. (The fing miniboss and boss of Chapter 3 still kick my butt too much.) And I threw two of them away in the first ten seconds. I was furious, since I had finally worked out the pattern of 4-1 to know what color to be when for lucky best survival.
