How about that post. Since a few weeks I'm on wireless internet, and unfortunately my Xbox isn't cooperating so far. I'm using an ethernet bridge (not by Microsoft, they don't seem to have any plans for releasing the official Xbox Wireless adapter), and while it works somewhat it doesn't work all that great. For example, Project Gotham Racing 2 is telling me I need to download an update. But when it goes back to the Dashboard to actually download it, after a while I just get a "Can't connect to Xbox Live" error. Not sure what I can do about it. Also on FileShack

Holy cow Maarten, I get the same problem with my router and I'm 'wired' into it. It works fine when I plug directly into the CM but that exact same thing happens to me in every single game when I'm wired into my Linksys WRTG54 router/switch. Very weird. It used to work flawlessly. I haven't changed anything either.
