A video of my friend playing WoW PvP killing 3 other characters with his rouge. Here's his story to go along with it.

"I was out in Westfall, looking for herbs and metals, and over two full groups of Horde came through. I picked off a shaman and a warrior that left the zerg, but then I stayed stealth so I could check out what the rest of them were doing.

Eventually, the whole mass left, except for a group of 3 undead. There was a 24 warrior, 20 priest, and 22 rogue in that trio. Because my rogue was also 24, I thought, "Damn. It's going to be tough to mess with 3 of them that are my level."

So I waited for the opportune moment. When I saw the rogue dicking around and the warrior mining, I struck the priest in the back and dropped him before the other two could even react.

Then I jogged away and used my instant stealth Vanish. I circled back around and hit the warrior with dual, stacking DoTs, and then used rogue Sprint to avoid them again. I restealthed once more, and moved back in on the warrior, who had lost a significant amount of life to my DoTs. I hit him with the dual DoTs again, and then ducked and weaved so they had a hard time hitting me. Meanwhile, the warrior was losing a lot of life to my periodic strikes and the dual DoTs.

After the warrior fell, I turned to the remaining 22 rogue. I threw back a healing potion, which, because of my high alchemy, gave me just about all of my life back. Then we danced, and he lost. In the movie, you'll see him drink his weak-ass healing potion, wishing he was the mad alchemist like I am. And then you'll see him stun me and move behind me to backstab me, but he dies to my DoT after getting behind me. "

i'm doing some gay asp programming and my brain isn't working.

given a date/time variable, i'd like to compute the date/time of the next occurence of 15 after the hour.

examples

input: 7/3/1999 10:26:44 AM
output: 7/3/1999 11:15:00 AM

input: 3/19/2002 3:13:27 PM
output: 3/19/2002 3:15:00 PM

input: 12/31/2003 11:40:05 PM
output: 1/1/2004 12:15:00 AM

i can write a function that would do it pretty easily, but the plan i have in my head seems overly complicated for such a simple problem. anyone have any ideas how it could be done with in a short, hopefully non obfuscated, line of code?

asp is written in vbscript, which is similar to vb, but i should be able to port whatever language you guys are comfortable with.

Let me bring this to it's own thread...

I still can't understand how all you kids can play FPS's on a console.

I could barely shoot anything properly on the first level of Riddick whiich nearly led me to break a perfectly good XBox controller.

I stand by my stance that the people that rave about Halo so much on consoles simply haven't played a good FPS on a PC!

While they were playing Goldeneye, I was playing Quake!

I've been thinking of getting a fishtank and a buddy of mine has a 40 gallon (wide-rectangular) tank with a stand and a light for $40.

I figure I'll need a pump, filter, and maybe a heater and some kind of cover for the rest of the top. Not to mention fish . . .

What else will I need and what Kind of things should I keep in mind?

i bought a canon a80 :*(
a few questions that will (hopefully) ease my mind. since i'm such a picky person when it comes to buying gadgets that are worth hundreds of dollars... (remember i bugged you guys about the gameboy sp i got and returned 3 times...)

can a80/a70/a75 owners check these for me plz?

1) it doesn't sit flat on a hard surface. those four little knob/feet at the bottom? one of them is considerably shorter than the rest. the one closest to the "4.0 MEGA PIXELS" on the front. that would be the one on the lower left if you hold the camera away from you, lens facing down.

on anything less than hard (a soft cd sleeve), the camera sits just fine.

2) the plastic battery compartment cover. if you run your finger down the "PowerShot A80" lettering right down to the bottom edge, the cover sort of protrudes a bit. not a lot, not even a tenth of a millimeter, but it's there. sometimes holding the camera i feel like i'm going to flick my ring finger and break it.

usually however, my ring finger is pressing against the edge so i don't feel the protrusion as much.

these construction quirks... anyone else have them? :|
camera itself is fine. i got 2000mah batteries :( they charge in 2 hours. i'm going to get an extra 2100mah or 2200mah set when i get the chance.

Fucking wierd.

I saw a kid I went to HS a few days ago downtown, no big deal. We didn't exchange words but I know it was him and he looked right back at me.

Well, I was reading the paper and by chance saw the obituaries this morning - he's dead. Died at age 21, doesn't say cause of death.

WTF :(

A note for BF1942 mappers:
You can use Jasc Paint Shop Pro (instead of Photoshop) with the Nvidia mipmap dds plugin. Everything you need is on this page:

It works with the free Paint Shop Pro demo, too. As for how you actually go about incorporating the custom textures into your map, I can only venture some guesses (put them in your rfa file). Cyb0rgninja's excellent tutorial post is in the old database, so we can't see it until the backup is restored. :( Sorry.

ok, the last fight in Megaman Legends is a load of shit. Seriously, Capcom went out of their way to draw out each and every boss fight even longer than the one before it, and this fight just takes way too fucking long, even with fully powered equipment.

Fuck this game, I'm going to shelf it and play something else on my "to beat this summer" list.
