- I just slapped together this nifty new GameSpy filter for those of you trying to sort all the Quake3 servers and find the registered ones. Just shift click this link and import it into GameSpy and you should be dandy. - The official Quake3Arena Noise site has opened up their doors which features some new sound clips from the Quake3 soundtrack. - Graeme Devine has some more .plan updates with a warning for those of you entering your CD key. Make sure and double check that you typed it in right. Graeme says he's seen a few typos show up already. Also check out the .plan update from Xian on the topic. - For A3D sound users, Alex MacFarlane sends word that if you uninstall your Monster Sound drivers, and delete the monster sound .inf file from WINDOWS\INF\OTHER\ . Reboot, then install these A3D drivers from Aureal you should be able to get the A3D sound working. - In order to run a dedicated server without a CD, use the bot_enable 0 console command. Gamedealer wont give me a response on my deal- it\'s still back up at 47.95, and says it hasn\'t shipped yet. And I ordered right when Steve put the deal up.
I\'m a little miffed, but STOP WRITING TO STEVE. He can\'t do anyting about their incompetance, he just set up the deal. Do you bitch at your local newspaper when a coupon you clip out doesn\'t get inputted properly at the store you used it?
Still have those pingtool desktop images I set up for ya? :)

I think it\'s just the luck of the draw... and your channel distributions... Although I think gamedealer has handled it quite poorly (I keep reading posts about people waiting on hold for 20 minutes and then the phone is picked up and then hung up on.)
i honestly feel really bad for the guy, it could have been something really cool and it ends up making a few thousand people pissed off at him even when it wasnt his fault.
if you dont get it by fedex today, call gamedealer and cancel it. 95% likely it\'s at your local software store anyways. you just didnt save $10 is all.

something wrong with that statement? yup, it\'s not steve\'s fault if gamedealer fucks up. if you dont get your quake3 copy today just can the order and get it locally. it\'s in every store around town anyways.
