by Steve Gibson, May 15, 2004 6:04am PDTYay back home... Here's one that should make some people happy. The next id Software title will not be based on the DOOM or Quake or Wolfenstein franchises. This is actually a couple of days old but I just noticed Sander didnt pick this one up so here you go.
He [ed. Hollenshead] offered few details on the style or content of the game, other than to say the id team would start serious work on it in short order, possibly a matter of days, after moving on from the PC and later Xbox releases of the new "Doom."Quest anyone? Ok probably not...
