Nope, #69, a patch probably isn\'t in the cards. A 50+ MB d/l probably is, though.

Personally, I think one of Activision\'s QA goons went and found a BIG-ASS showstopper of a bug the night after they went Gold, and id went into spin-control right before the Thanksgiving weekend, thus denying us of our oh-so-precious and beloved full DEMO.

I pray to God that I don\'t see a Quake II inspired \'Point Release\' addendum page pop up on the www.quake3arena.com website at like, 11:58pm on Sunday Dec.12.

i betcha bones is gonna be in the full demo as an incentive to download, the graphic on the web site has each character from the test AND bones, they probably made the graphic and then realized they needed to release another test so they never took the bones off the graphic, just printed TEST across it, if im right thats gonna be real cool

wow, i just turned down the the brightness on q3 and its like awhole new game, forget the new demo, maybe its just my vid card but at about 2 notches below the defausl it looks perfect, it gives a whole new mood to all the levels!

Remember the demo for Quake2 didn\'t come out till way after Q2 was in stores...

ummm, the test is basically the demo what more do they need to do, they are targeting online players. it would seem to me that the demo be out early next week.

#33 HOLY SMOKES! That\'s my worst freaking fear!! PLEASE don\'t revert back to crappy 1.08. The demo is so far ahead of the test it\'s like quake4 or something.. SO MUCH BETTER!

God I love q3\'s gameplay now.. all the tweaks were oh so right... from the rl to the rg to the lg. Perfect.

I really don\'t care about the demo. The full game is coming out in about 2 weeks. I can wait.

They are probablly are testing it, Keep in mind that the \"Demo\" Features a single player mode that they might have to tweak out a little..If you need help on making your system or the demo run better see my post on q3message board regarding the driver issue...Mine runs flawless..Anyways to get to your question, I think they are tweaking a few more things..Later

Just to add to all the ireverance (sp?), I broke up with my gf tonight. No, really. As a uni student, there is stress on me already, and I don\'t need a girlfriend who gives me more.

Picture this scenario. Her birthday was Wednesday. I called her at 1, after my last class and she wasn\'t there. I left a message on her machine wishing her happy birthday and asking her to call me back. She didn\'t get home that afternoon (I assume), so she didn\'t. I left res at 5 to drop my presents off at her house, knowing full well she probably wouldn\'t be there. I put them on her porch and called her from a pay phone across the street to tell her they were there and that she could call me after 10, cause I had a night class.

10 O\'clock rolls around, and no call. That\'s ok, it\'s not like I told her to call (which I woudln\'t do). Next day she comes over to the house when I\'m not there and tells my Roommate that since I went over to her house when she wasn\'t there, that I\'m scaring her.

WTF is that?

Every other girl on the planet whould that that was sweet (shit, I asked most of the last night, and that\'s what they said).

Argh. I like her a lot, but she wasn\'t worth that much stress. I feel like a weight has been lifted. YES!
