Q3Demo Analysis

Now that the latest Q3Demo has been out a while people have dug up the subtle differences as well as the more apparent. Kenn over at FiringSquad gives us his two cents, as well as Quakeheads compiling a list of what is new. Personally I'm fairly happy with it. Most of my gripes are fairly minor, it looks like cranking down the machinegun in teamplay has helped a fair amount, although they might wanna still slow down the firing rate now.. the complaining never stops. :)

I want people to come to my server, but they never do, when I\'m hosting it and playing. I am trying a Dedi one now, because I bet those bastards (id) made it so your server only shows up if its dedi. That\'s gay. What if I want a bunch of friends to join my server and play, but they cant see it on the list, they have to punch in the IP manually. What if I just want some lpb competition? I can\'t have any unless they already know my IP because it doesn\'t show up on the server listing.
    That\'s so damn gay.
Dedi is fine if you have two pcs and one can run the dedi and you can play on the other, but I don\'t. I want to play the fucking game AND host it, which I can do but no one can see my game unless it\'s dedi.
