* removed limit on number of completed commands
* changed default name to "UnnamedPlayer"
* awards over people's heads in multiplayer

On the other hand, Q1 vs Q2 arguments provide extremely funny entertainment. Just look at post #230. I swear, I burst out laughing when I read that one =)
Q1 and Q2 are constantly compared because Q2 was nowhere like Q1.
It shouldnt really have been called Q2 in the first place, but i guess that the financial advantages were too great to resist. You can\'t really compare Doom and Doom2 like that, because there arent that many differences. Some minor technical improvements, and some more content in the same vein as the orignal. However Q2 was the exact opposite of Q1 in just about every respect. Some people actually like both equally, which i find umm, weird =), but most dont, and they\'ll always try to justify their choice, either by coherently explaining their reasons, or by calling eachother gay (as seen below).

oh, and 1on1 dm4 is what the fps experience was meant to be like.
I lived Q1/QW for 2 years then tried Q2. Yes, strait-up Quake2 deathmatch wasn\'t as great as Q1\'s, but the mod\'s beat the pants off the original\'s. LMCTF, RA2, HH, JB, Q-Pong -- all fun and don\'t have as good of (if any) competitor in Q1.
Q1 laid the groundwork which we all should appreciate, but Q2 gave the mod communtity opportunity to shine.
I look forward to seeing all my favorite mods carried over to the new engine. Hell I\'m counting on LMCTF to be the definative grapple-enabled CTF.
