  • One thing to remember, is that if you don\'t want to see gore, you can turn off any of the parental options (blood, severing, violent deaths, mature textures, gore) to scale it back...

The music was made for this avi. The actual in game music fits the environment you are playing in (siberia = russian music, etc.). DM has a more techno beat to it. Weapon sounds have been improved since this AVI/OEM to give them more of a bass / kick.

DM (which we are testing now) has all of the gore and a ton of animations, including 50+ skins/models (teams are based upon the enemy / good guy sets from within the game).

Shadows were not in the engine at the time this AVI was made (about a month ago now...), but they are very cool...

  • I think we need MORE games like this (although the violence can be excessive in some cases), not less. I think it lets people realize that real-life violence is often a lot more horrific than in games.

Imagine if you played a game, and shot an enemy in the leg... but he doesn\'t drop dead right away. No, he holds his leg and gives blood-curdling screams until he goes into shock (if he didn\'t do that right after getting shot) and loses consciousness. You\'d probably feel a lot more guilty about shooting someone in a game - and in real life - if that were the case.
