by Maarten Goldstein, Nov 12, 1999 11:56am PSTThanks to Haakon for sending two stories about Intel problems after after an analyst from Merrill Lynch (stock company) reduced the price target from $100 to $90, citing that he expects a lot of pressure on Intel because of the competition from AMD and concerns of dissapointment of the next generation (IA-64) Intel chips. Here's the story on CNNfn and Yahoo News. Intel stock dropped almost 5%.

than the whole Microsoft or VHS standarizationalism. Think of it this way; for those that computed back in the 80\'s (Amiga, Atari ST, MAC)society has adopted a staandard---which we didn\'t have back then. Now there is a MS standard. Other gear may be better, but until major software vendors decide they\'ll right goods for certain \"special instruction\" sets for minority company\'s hardware; why not buy a freakin\' Intel? You\'ll end up paying for it, with other hardware upgrades or in corrupt framerate packets.
WHAT THE FUCK IS AOL\'S BROADBAND STRATEGY!?
I thought so. Sell AOL!
...Good to see that AMD has gained some momentum...
You guys aughta see if there\'s any buying for Transmeta shares.
ur dumb. Look at what the analyists think about AOL. strong buy consensus dummy. I have tripled my money with AOL in 10 months. It was up 61/2 today. AOL is the internet leader. The internet is in it\'s infancy, they\'ll be making so much money on advertising alone in the next few years to keep the stock rolling for a long time
