Been playing some Rise of Nations finally, and I like it so far. Graphically it doesn't offer much, but the familiar gameplay is there and that's good enough for me. The economy and research, as well as the turn based parts before each mission are kinda interesting but don't really add all that much. Some nasty hard locks so far though, and some weird bugs too even after patching. Movie: This trial is a travesty. It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.

  • how can someone who already raised a kid to 10 years be so clueless as to how to treat and understand a 2 year old?

obviously i can't tell them that. i haven't raised a kid before, and they have. plus, people are free to raise their kids as they please. it's not like they're beating him or abusing him in any way (not at all! if that's what you're thinking). i seriously got no business going there and telling them "hey, here's how to raise your child."

i'm just glad i took a sociology class in high school with an excellent teacher because everything the kid does makes so much sense to me. and the parents just don't see it. it's strange.

i wonder if raising your own child makes things different. maybe when i have a kid, i will become more conscious of how people see me as a parent that i will act in stupid ways. i hope not.

... that sociology class is paying off already. i feel much less sour about failing the course now.
