BF1942: Battle of Britain Map

Promising screenshots today, the EA Games Battlefield 1942 website now has word of a new map they're planning to release for Battlefield 1942, Battle of Britain. In this map, "German forces must disable four RAF radar towers as well as the heavily-protected Harwich Weapons Factory on the coast of England". There will be a new vehicle and a new weapon available for this level. Update: screenshots can be found on Planet Battlefield, Battlefield Central and BFNation.

Did they say WHEN it will be released? I hate when companies announce new "official" maps, add-ons, patches, or whatever and then don't release it for like 6 months. (att:Blizzard and your D2 1.10 patch)

  it was supposed to be released before the end of June, i've heard. my guess is they will roll out a 1.41 patch that fixes the superman bug that will include this map.

        It's too early for a patch. The bug was found just recently. They still have to locate the issue, fix it, test it, and make sure nothing else like it exists in the game.

  If Blizzard operated the production phase of its games like it operates the post-production patching phase, they would've released Warcraft 2 last May.
