As noted in this Battle.net thread, a new patch for Warcraft 3 is on the way. This patch will add clan support and many of the interface enhancements found in the The Frozen Throne expansion pack, and should be out in a few days.

I dont understand why people still play diablo2, not that theres anything wrong with it. Im just curious. Whats the purpose of getting all the badass items for a game that youve already beaten a million times? So you can beat it again? Youve done everything there is to do. I would think after beating the entire game a few times people would just move on, like I did. Whats there to do in this game now besides brag to other diablo nerds in-game and show off your 'l33t uber gear'? And please god dont say its the PvP.

this patch is going to rock ;)

now all my 1337 expansion skillz can carry over somewhat ..... it's hard to play ROC after TFT when you take Portrait rallying and ALT key and Que buildings for granted.

Oh come on! d2 was awsome ... like the first 3 months. but how can any intellegent person KEEP playing it to this day? a patch with tons of new items aint gonna hide the fact that item hunting is a lifeless and fruitless effort. believe me, i did it. i even had a blister from all the clicking. but the game has no depth, it's at its best during a break where you just want to mash stuff or lan with people who suck at games, but as a real game it is insanely shallow.

Another major tweak was: we stopped heroes from gaining experience from creeps after level five. This was also done in an effort to encourage players to fight each other more. We think creeping is a really fun dynamic for the first five minutes of the game and sporadically after that, but people would tend to use creeps as a precious resource, and not until they mined the entire map of them would players fight each other. We wanted to try and get past that.

wow, what do the beta testers think of this? hows it working out?
