I think the new look of Max Payne is pretty cool. People say, "Why does he look old?"
And I say: At the end of the 1st game he was arrested, so it looks like he spent some time in jail/prison. Now he's out and mad as hell. :P

The graphics look very on par with the source engine. Seems to look great. Don't see why a lot of ppl don't like the new look of max payne. I think less constipation and more age and maturity can't hurt.

I will admit the new look jives more of what I imagine Max to look like. He's obviously been sitting in jail for several years, probably pulled a Tommi Vercetti and spent fifteen years. Considering the amount of people he put down, I'm surprised he didn't get the death penalty. But seeing a matured Payne wielding a pair of what looks like Tec 9's look devilish :)

Okay, but.. the original max payne seemed to be set in current times, but now max looks about 20 years older, so is this set in the future or something. Or did they just throw the timeline out the window so they could make the main character look more film noir-ish.

Max Payne 1 kicked total ass. One of the most memorable action games I've ever played. Can't wait for the sequel, it looks so much better than I thought would be necessary. Great stuff.
