Chrome Delay

bullshit. The game has been already released in Poland (last week). It's so buggy that already one patch has been issued. Guess they use us as a laboratory rats around here to check the reception. Engine is sooooooooo optimized that the game is choppy on AthlonXP 2000+, R9700 i 768 MB RAM. sucky sucky.

I DLed the Gamespy demo and it looked like it had a fair amount of potential, but it was really hard. The enemies would do a lot of damage, and on top of that your reticle would get knocked if you got hit, so shooting back was even harder. Also the enemies were really hard to see, harder than UT2003 without the brightskins patch. I know everyone was making fun of the engrish in the movie they released, but the game didn't seem to have any of that in it. It was all pretty well voice acted. I'd say the thing I didn't like about it was that they were really pushing the stealth aspect. It was almost impossible to hit anything unless you were crouched and zoomed in and not moving, unless you had a machine gun and were within 10 feet of them. Still it had promise, could be fun if they tweak it around a lot.

READ: People said it sucked, so they're frantically fixing it. This sounds like the game Devastation to me.

I have to give them kudos if they really mean to fix it.

Wow, I can't beleive they actually listened to all of us beta testers telling them the product was big time unpolished and still had bugs.

The world has gone nuts.

Now what will hurt them BIG is that they will come out after HL2... ouch.

So we didn't have to bother with Chrome preview version that Gayspy was so proud to launch for their subscribers?
