TRON 2.0 Not On DVD

HomeLAN Fed has a followup story to yesterday's report that TRON 2.0 would be released on DVD. According to a Buena Vista Games spokesperson, only Germany will get a DVD version. The game will be released as a CD-ROM title everywhere else.

DVD ROMs are cheap as hell now, all the current game consoles use DVD format, and DVD movies have taken off in a BIG way. It's time for PCs to catch up.

Lame, oh well, i'm still interested in the game, I just wish they put it on DVD. Maybe they will still put it in a DVD case though, which is good enough for me.

I can't even imagine Tron will be that big. The game doesn't seem to have as many textures as other shooters.
