The cats totally freaking out is also good for a few chuckles. I think for some strange reason we're going to see that Harrison Ford movie this weekend. I havent figured out why yet.

It's basically a music video for Portishead's To Kill a Deadman. And since the song doesn't already have a music video for it (if you don't count the short film they made of the same name), I thought I'd make one.
The footage I used is from a childhood favorite of mine, an 80's Japanese TV series and manga based heavily on Greek/Roman mythos called Saint Seiya. It eventually went international and has a pretty decent sized cult following worldwide. The footage itself is from one of the movies called, When Gods Battle. As
the case with most anime, the TV series turned out far more superior than any of the movies, but WGB was probably my favorite of the ones that were made. People may draw comparisons with the monkey-sporting fireball-flinging yelling-across-the-span-of-multiple-episodes-having junk popular with the kids today, but in all seriousness, and those who have followed the show or manga can attest to this, you just can't. It totally destroys them.
Anyway, here. It isn't much, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together:

When I was in college a group of us went river tubing, we got a couple coolers and floated them down the river with beer. 2 hours later and everyone was pretty drunk...
Well there was a sharp bend and myself and another guy were in front and we noticed a concrete bridge up ahead with the stream water being sucked under some metal grates. Anyone that didn't paddle hard to the side of the river would get sucked under and most likely drown pinned underwater against the grate. Myself and my friend got to shore and ran up on the bridge which was only about 3 feet high off the water. Sure enough 2 girls and guy in our group didn't notice and weren't able to paddle away, luckily they were spaced about 20 feet downriver from each other or we would've lost someone. My friend and I literally grabbed the upstretched arms of each person and dragged them up onto the bridge, we both had to help the guy get up. Felt really good to save a person's life.
Then of course I see one of the girls in a bar a year later and she hardly says hi.

I was an engineer. Yes that's right, I was spamming with two whole grenades.
I think it was more like because my score was 30/5 (with no caps, the map was warpath) and I laughed to an enemy engineer (I have this fervent hate for enemy engineers and take extra pleasure in weeding out their sentries and killing them too) who prompty started a vote that somehow got passed. Oh well.
I love that game.

on a plus, when it crashes it leaves all my sounds with a reverb echo, which sounds pretty cool on my mp3s.. some which were rather haunting before are downright scary now :D
