Sure DC & EOD will stay with BF, they have a large following. But wait and see... loads of the less visible, still in development, teams are gonna leave BF. And if someone recreates DC in HL2 (and someone will, wait and see... they'll be fighting to be the first to do it cause Frank won't have the foresight being too blinded by his BF success to realize HL2 is going to kill BF... so his 'days of fame' will fade as well)... then its all she wrote for BF.

And blah blah blah Road to Rome should've been free blah blah blah. Two expansion packs at twenty dollars apiece doesn't equate to "trying to milk us for every penny they can". Don't like em, don't buy em. I probably won't get this until I read every review I can; I'm really unsure of what they're doing.
And I think the Enemy Territory situation isn't much of an analogy; the only reason it came out for free is because the single-player game apparently just sucked, at least in the minds of id and Activision. You think they were planning to release it for free during the solid year they spent developing it? I'm not up on the financial aspects of the situation, but I'd bet that's at least a million dollars down the drain for Activision. It's nice of them to release what they had done, but it has no effect on what Dice is doing; they can't run a huge gaming studio by giving away games for free.
