This is my 3rd day (in progress) of non-smoking. I'm going for my 2nd run since quitting. Yesterday's was better than any I'd done in a few months, and much, much better than the previous 2 I did this week. I can't wait for my lungs to get back into shape.

I collected all the data and composed a basic web page listing it in an easy to read categorical format. Some of the categories need to be renamed/expanded but I'm tired now and make the changes some other time.

I just finished it this very second so there are bound to be some errors and omissions. Let me know if you find any.

It's looking pretty good so far. Keep on sending in more stuff and we'll see just how knowledgable the shack collective is.

Unhealthy amount of photoshop tips, IN REPLY. If you ever, ever use Photoshop 7.0 (and some stuff applies to earlier versions) at all, and like saving time, it's worth a once over.

I'm actually bugging out and creating a camtasia video and narrating it, I stopped half way through the document realising a camtasia video is probably a lot easier for me to do, and is a lot easier to get tips from, too.

Anyway, hope this stuff helps.

What the hell is the name of this movie on Lifetime channel?

This high school chick with a gambling addiciton borrowed money from this guy to feed her addiction, but she couldn't pay him back so him and his wife plowed her, videotaped it, and then tried to blackmail her in front of her mom (when she came to try to protect her, but was a bit too late and discovered her post-plowing).. so her mom beat the fucker over the head with a club anti-car theft thing.

With BitTorrent, everyone has to upload. But with kazaa (if you dont use lite) you have to, but i'm sure most people are using Klite. How is it that i'm able to get such high download speeds from klite? I just started using it again recently, it has got so much better.

I have mostly just a question for you. I was reminded of this in the post about doing stuff in the world, etc, etc. My friend and i like 2 years ago got into this argument about this restaraunt. He said he'd like to try lion some day, because this bullshit place actually serves exotic meats like that (which i'm heavily against). He said that if he went there himself and ate some lion, it would not cause any increase in their purchases for lion and it would not make them kill more. I happened to disagree with him, i said that any consumer that purchases something from a producer, is not only buying the product but sending a message of: "yes, i like this, please make/kill more of it". I had recently gotten out of my econ class and we were discussing just that: supply and demand. If there is no demand (i.e. no one wants to eat it), there will be no supply, because the restaraunt will not serve it anymore, due to no profit being gained. He then went on to bitch at me saying "Me going there will not affect it, people are always going to buy it, and just one person is not going to affect it" I retaliated saying "Yes, but if everyone has that mentality, it WILL affect it." I didn't want to see more lions/exotic game being eaten/killed because it's just not right to me. He then went on to say "They probably have lion farms, just like with cows". I found this a bit prepostrous, but that's where the almighty shack comes in.

2 Questions really: Are there lion farms(please have linkage to proof), and do you think that one person having the mentality of "I won't affect it" and eating exotic game, or any other situation will/won't increase supply and make them get more of the product?

I got an email at work recently that pointed out that the Air Force will be accepting initial enlistments of only 15 months for certain career fields (short tech school).

As a member of the military, this kinda bites. It means we don't even have enough time to completely train them and get their skill levels certified.

As a citizen, I think it's a great idea. It allows them to get financial aid for college when they get out. Classes taken while they are in are covered 100% (except books). They gain responsibility. This is the main thing that will help. 15 months in the military will go a long way in helping to eliminate the dreaded 2 semester plan.
