So, tonight after my Spanish class, this girl who I had a convo class with last semester and whose sister I spent the summer with in Mexico walked with me to the student center because she had to wait there till 7:30 for her ride.
Whole time we are just gabbing away about this and that (we are both Spanish majors but she also fluent in French and Arabic). So, we get to the student center and we just sit and chill. She is like leaning and although she is just an A cup and B cup if she had padding, she was leaning forward in such that I kept getting nipple glances in my perf. God damn it. She was looking so fucking hot tonight, it was driving me crazy.
Then her 'ride' comes and its this old dude, grey hair, and he doesnt even have a good handshake. So I figured uncle or some shit. Anyhoo, I say goodbye and I head out. I see them leave the other exit of the building and they are walkin all close and I see old dude plant one on her. I wanted to fucking vommit. I wanted to gouge out my eyes. I wanted to jump into a volcano. God. Damn. It. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

I didn't go in to work today cuz I felt like shit. "Woke up in a poopy mood". So I got drunk at about noon and fell asleep on the couch till about 6 pm. I think I got up at about 6:30, went to go get a glass of water and realized the sterio was on. Once the song was over I stumbled to the sink to get a drink of water and accidently banged my head on the shelvfes above the sink.
Blackness.
Next thing i know it's dark outside (11 PM) and I'm on the ground with some blood on my forehead and NO lights have been turned on. I go to turn on the lights and I swear to god I see someone staring at me from outside my living room window with their face on the glass. I turn on the lights and it dissapears. I don't know wtf happened but man today has been fucked up. :/

I'm looking to install Linux on my file server and all that fun stuff
I'm looking for a distribution that is fairly easy to install but has all kinds of fun stuff with it.
Last time i installed Linux was a few years ago - mandrake 6.1 i think it was...anyway I had no troubles with that.
What do you guys suggest?

HW: It was mentioned, that STALKER uses some of the latest graphics technology. Does the other high-end card owners benefit from this move or you just plan GFFX only improvements? What are these specifically?
GSC: Nvidia is a technical partner for STALKER and we do an optimization for their FX card generation. Geforce FX offers excellent shader possibilities, and we are going to make an extensive use of that. At the same time, we will do our best to ensure owners of other brands of high-end graphic hardware are not deprived of state-of-the-art effects their cards can offer, so no worries there.

Is Nvidia trying to make other companies (ATI) look bad when people use the XRAY engine as a benchmark utility? That sounds a little underhanded and I was wondering does this stuff happen often and what do you guys think about it? I think it's a little underhanded and kind of shitty personally.

ok, i've been threatening for a day or so now, and i finally remembered to bring my digital camera home, so now i give to you:

first off, i apologize about the quality. they're choppy and blurry and totally ghetto. this is the best my digital camera can do. i have some svideo port on the back of my ti4200, but i don't know if it's in or out, and i wouldn't know what to do with it either way. this technology stuff makes me cry. anyways, rest assured that the chop you see is my camera's fault, and the game itself is smooth like butter.
i play as france, since they're the best team in the game, and i suck. i also play on 3 star difficulty (out of 5). on to the movies already...

france vs brazil - thierry henry has some room on the right side, gets near the corner of the six yard box, cuts left through two defenders, shields the ball from one of them, then fires a left footer through a third defender's legs. totally sweet and awesome.

france vs brazil - pires collects the ball in the center and hits henry with some space on the right side of the box. henry goes to the touchline, then proceeds to humiliate the entire brazillian back line including the goalie en route to a beautiful goal. i threw my controller and did a little dance when i pulled this one off. pay attention to his footwork. eat your heart out ea sports.

france vs holland - starting from a kickoff after a horrendous goal conceded by france. zidane works it up to henry, who is stonewalled by stam. holland clears the ball forward to thuram, beating van nistelrooy in the air. the ball goes to wiltord and is headed to zidane in the center. zidane takes it to the left squares it to vieria in the middle with a bit of space to run. vieria passes around davids to henry, who turns, fights off a strong davids challenge, then sends a through ball to zidane, who has made a beautiful run into the central space opened up by vieria and henry's work up front. zidane makes no mistake from 17 yards out. a classic goal. rewind and keep your eye on zidane making the smart run after he gives the ball to vieria. this game is full of beautiful, realistic stuff like that.
anyways, this game owns me. going to play some more now.

and then for live stuff from CNN i get to see them preparing because they start the stream before the reporter is supposed to be on so i see him do his hair and the camera man zoom in and out on his face, then hes like 'are we ready now? are we ready now?' its funnay :)
