I want my Renegade 2 :(
The Westwood3D rendering technology (and subsequently, engine) were created in house by Westwood Studios for their games, based on 3D Studio Max and DirectX8.1
It was used in Renegade, Pirates (PS2) and Earth & Beyond.
The rendering core and file structure are also used in EA Pacific's SAGE engine that powers C&C Generals.
Emperor didn't use this engine (as far as I know)..... It was a custom engine (totally different than W3D or SAGE) created specifically for Emperor by the people at Inteligent Games London (a long time partnet of Westwood Studios).

However, if it is then I'm seriously impressed. Can anyone confirm this either way? Thanks.
