Uncertain MechWarrior Future
by Maarten Goldstein, Mar 22, 2003 7:43am PSTAccording to this messageboard post brought to our attention by the people at Microsoft, it does not seem we'll get a new MechWarrior game any time soon. Though MechWarrior 5 was in development, after seeing that they were unable to push the franchise to the next level, they decided to suspend development. FASA Studios will continue to work on other games.

And recently a friend and I sat down at college and brainstormed on ideas for MW5, five pages later we were considering keeping them to ourselves, or sending them to FASA in hopes they would implement any they liked ( Did same thing for Turok 2, to no avail, that was 4 and 1/2 pages typed as I recall ).
