by Maarten Goldstein, Mar 21, 2003 9:31pm PSTArush Entertainment sends along this performance fix for the Devastation multiplayer demo, fixing the extreme frame rate loss and connection lags that people are experiencing. A patch fixing server browser issues, miscellaneous gameplay issues, physics, and other problems will be released in the coming weeks. According to Arush, the performance problems only exist in the demo, and not in the retail version of the game.

I guess companies should never fix a game after its released, or improve upon it with patches.
Come on man; there was an issue with the demo and Digitalo busted their effin asses all day to identify it, and get a fix out as soon as possible. They actually give a damn about gamers and want to give you the best experience possible.
We understand that first impressions can be a killer...but that doesn't mean we should throw up our hands and not correct an issue. We have more respect for the gaming community than that.

That's, from my past experieces, when a MMORPG starts to go downhill...when the devs listen to the whiners.
