  • This is a pretty decent game. Hard as FUCK though. As in, if you don't have 100% situational awareness and don't sneak everywhere you will get your ass handed to you.

    Pros:
-Pretty good graphics, handles more foilage / jungle levels than SOF 2 does.
-Good sound effects. Brushing against trees while standing, or crouching, or laying -down make varying levels of nosie which the enemy can hear.
-Atmosphere. It really does feel like you are in "Da Nang"

    Cons:

-Too accurate enemy AI. If a VC sees you peek out around a bush while standing you almost always catch a bullet in the face. This is made by the same guys who did the "Deadly Dozen" games and it seems they just ported the way too accurate AI.

-Lack of info on objectives. You get dropped in a 5 mile radius and an example of an objective would be "resuce pilot". That's great but where he is ISN'T marked on your map so you have to go around everywhere and like slaughter every VC on the map to find him.

    - Stupid squad AI. Every game that has squad AI always has this con. Sometimes they dont return fire while shot, sometimes they get stuck on a blade of grass or stairway, etc.

Overall: Pretty fun Vietnam shooter for 20 bucks. It's short as shit though, I'm almost done all 12 missions and I've only had it for 2 days. If you like stealth-shooters you might as well pick it up.
