I belive that the faster your heart beats the sooner you die. For example a hamptsers heart beats like a son of a bitch and those poor little bastards only live about 2 or 3 years. now dogs hearts beat slower so they live 10 to 15 years and humans hearts beat even slower so we live even longer... (when i was little i thought this was real so i would try and keep my heart rate down so i could live longer)

So, where's good to live in Canada, a city that's big, mixed culture, economically prosperous, younger sort of crowd, where it's not too far to get to snow?
I'm thinking of moving somewhere in the world. Canada is one of those options.

Video is 55.9 megs at 640x480 res (I suck at compressing things and still making them look decent) and in DivX 5.03. I applied a weird smoothing filter in virtual dub so the game kinda looks cell-shaded now, but it didn't bother me any :) Also some of the audio got itself out of sync at the beginning, but not too bad. Completely work safe:

I know most of the theory but I'm looking for sort of a step-by-step how to arrive at the finished equation. So if I get a question "determine the base function B0" I would be able to do that ( I know that particular one is (1-t)^3).

I work at CompUSA, and it shows the store only has 10 copies on order... and I know of at least 5 employees who preordered the thing.
I dunno if this is simular at other CompUSA store, or other game stores.. but it looks like Nintendo might be trying to create a shortage??

Something I have noticed over the last couple of years.
Has anyone noticed the games coming out of the countries that were under the iron curtain. MAFIA, Operation flashpoint, Soldner, Serious sam.
Got me into thinking a little bit on how creative these guys are in that there isn't anyone telling them that stuff can't be done cause they really have no past experience.

I started this SF project a damn long time ago, hoping that maybe someone looking for such a tool would be drawn to it. Well, a long time later and still no one joining. What is it?
It will be a completely kick ass network admin tool. Some features that I hope for it to have:
* secured reporting of vital client statistics to a win32/*nix/mac server (uptime, current ip address, processess running, etc)
* VNC capabilities. It can do the VNC via request mode, that way a VNC port is not always open.
* Remote reboot
* fully scriptable and easily deployed (ie it should be easy to have someone use scripts to work with the data that is spat out and i should be able to have a config with the installer or binary that will tell the program what to do, no need to set settings over and over again)
* secure file transfer for updates (not all software has automagic updates)
* more more more!
So, Im going to try to whore this out over the next couple of days and see if there is any intrest. Last time I brought it up, everyone agreed that it was a great idea, such a program would kick ass, but had no idea would would program it :<
