Sunday Afternoon ShackReviews
by jason bergman, Mar 09, 2003 12:11pm PSTMy wife's out of town for a few days, which means I have nothing better to do than sit around, play Xenosaga, and of course, update the ShackReviews database. We've got five new releases this week, including Freelancer, which means I owe someone five bucks and a round of drinks or two. As usual, if there's a game you want to review but don't see in the database, check first and then submit it!
- Freelancer (PC)
- IGI 2: Covert Strike (PC)
- Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc (GC)
- Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (PS2)
- Apex (Xbox)

Has anyone ever played this game? If so, what are your thoughts/opinions on it? I have a chance to get this game for 0.00 and I'm just wondering if I should even bother. Free software is always a bonus, but I don't need extra shit taking up space around here if it's not necessary.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a 60 hour game in single player if you really explored a lot of the world.

Have you tried any of the mini-games, Jason? There's Virtual On, a card game, poker and slots, and a drill game. I've tried them all, and the developers deserve credit for putting them in, but none of them are really all that entertaining.
