S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Impressions

Fresh from GDC is PC.IGN's article on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost, which is looking pretty impressive at the NVidia booth apparently. Let's hope the developers can pull off the gameplay style they're shooting for.

This game sounds like what FPS games have been trying to become since the genre was invented. Seamless enviroments, AI that remembers your actions, day night cycles, physics... essentially as immersive as current technology allows for. I just hope to god they can pull it off properly. If they do and they implement good MP, this game will dominate. Every review I read of it eeks it further up my wanted list... right now it's 2nd behind Doom 3, even though I know this game will have probably 4 times the content and replayability that D3 will.
