This must be an iso of the full cd version or some kind of movie / audio "bonus" set, because the game itself on floppy was about 30mb at most...........

Then again thinking back to those days, maybe I was playing a rip.................eek - not sure :( - but I'm sure there's a smaller version than 300 odd fucking mb the game is immensly basic.

BTW this game ROCKS in multiplayer mode. However you need broadband for it to run well. I "think" it uses P2P, hence the broadband.

I still have the original GTA installed on my computer. I love it! I hate the reviewers who bagged the original GTA as nothing but gimmic. The gameplay is great!!!

Is it just me, or does this game skip like mad at any res? I noticed it runs fast with framerate limiting off, but then the game runs too fast, even at 1600x1200.

In case there was any doubt, Rockstar proves that they are the coolest game company.

id is good about releasing the source to their games, but technically you still must buy Wolfenstien 3D if you want to play it, even though the source has been released.

Although the game has been far surpased by the recent additions to the series, it still has one of the greatest soundtracks ever for a computer game.

I could never get the original GTA to run normally in win2k, it ran but it studdered a lot below 5fps, plus the netcode sucks :(
