by Steve Gibson, Feb 21, 2003 7:36am PSTThis morning I think I perhaps made the absolute perfect grilled cheese sandwich. It was immaculate to say the least, I think I can die now.. you know? It is indeed Friday... my Oreos still arent stale, and I think this has to do with that whole watched pot never boils saying... a watched Oreo never stales. Write that down, share it with your kids. movie: Now what are you two pud-knockers gonna have? Huh?

So i'm part of a new 4 piece band, and the music we are playing ranges from blues to atonal craziness to gyspy rock to funk.
so what we need is a band name.
The one that is getting the most votes is:
HOG RALLY

Everyone seems to praise the inventiveness of "24" in how it seamlessly flows between characters in real-time. It has even been proclaimed the first television show of its kind.
Just thinking about it though, I've realized that it isn't that new of an idea at all. For all its cracked up to be, "24" is simply a soap-opera!
And that's why the show is so perfect. It combines the addictive qualitites of a day-time drama without all the stupid-ass, ridiculous love triangles. It's an action-opera so to say. Why didn't somebody think of this before?

Today I got another email from another office that wants to somehow share their calenders, their contacts, and todo lists. They have Outlook b/c its what was installed on their box. They would like to use outlook but its not required.
Now, I know for them to use outlook, this would require an exchange server and all the headaches (and $) that goes along with that. Well, thats not gonna work.
So, what alternatives do we have? Is there an exchange server clone that works with Outlook?
One thing I looked at was Ximian Evolution and the fact is supports iCalender and vCards. I guess somehow this would allow them to share calenders? I have no idea what is needed to do that tho.

I was just thinking that I would find it hard to spend a lot of time with someone who didn't find offensive things funny, or someone who liked music that I can't stand, etc. I mean, I'd find it hard to find someone attractive who was seriously religious. Are most people like this?
