New UT2003 Demo

Infogrames sends along an updated Unreal Tournament 2003 for Windows, as well as Linux. This new demo uses the latest gamecode and also contains an additional map (CTF-Orbital2). Full version clients can now also join demo servers again.

Why did they start capping fileshack to 100k/s. May I ask what the point of waiting is if I can only download at 100k/s? I used to pull files off of fileshack at 1.2 MB/s! It's getting way too popular.

I'd laugh, but I have to consider that they HAD to do this to offset the old demo with the DoS vulnerability. Still a great disappointment in the gaming world.

Just a reminder to those of you who already have the original Linux demo installed: use loki_update. It will save you an 80 MB download. Furthermore, the full updated installer refuses to install if you already have the first demo installed.
