BF1942 1.31 Patch News
by Maarten Goldstein, Feb 14, 2003 6:47pm PSTEA's official Battlefield 1942 site has been updated with a new community update. It mentions that a 1.31 patch for the game is on the way, fixing wall hacking cheats among other things. They are also asking people to submit sound bug reports.

start/run/dxdiag
goto the sound tab
slide the slider to the left once (standard acceleration)
start up bf1942, goto the sound. turn off hardware acceleration and select like 31/32 or 64 channels or something like that. 44khz & high quality sound i believe. i did this right after i installed the patch so i dont know if its what made the difference, but now it seems like i actually hear all the sounds? not sure
