HomeLAN Fed has not just one but two Devastation Q&As this morning, talking to Digitalo lead programmer Bob Berry and Arush Entertainment's marketing director Donald Case about this upcoming shooter. The guys at Digitalo sent over three new screenshots from the game, they show a player fight against a helicopter.

And if you missed it the other day we also did a Devastation interview of our own and posted five environmental screenshots.

the terms "boss fight" remind me of contra.
therefore i expect this game will have spread fire guns that shoot pellets as big as your head in 3 different directions. i have spoken.

The interactivity in this game alone is a definite step in the right direction. Imagine kicking over a table and using it for cover or dropping something on a guy from two stories up.

this game will probably be another sof2 which isnt a bad thing but its been done before. They should do something new with the genre

The HUD looks pretty good (I'm a big fan of OCR and 7-segment fonts though, so that's a bit of a partial judgement). The filenames of the pics seem to hint that this is a boss fight, so I hope they're keeping these to a minimum, or at least making them interesting or dynamic. I'm wondering about the M249, though; how fast does it fire? Did they make the belt capacity 100 rounds or cut down to 50? Is it really a good choice to use against a helicopter?

Heh, you guys suck. Go read the Shack interview and you'll see why everyone suddenly has high hopes for this game. I know it's gone from my "Meh" list to my "I really want to play the demo" list after reading that. Sure, maybe they got too ambitions and it will suck, but I'm looking forward to it at this point.
