It's hard to put a finger on what it is exactly about it that I dislike, but there's just something about the game that isn't fun. Maybe it's too basic for my tastes or something... maybe I'm playing it wrong, but it just lacks the flare of a really fun game, imo.

i don't think there is actually bump maps and specular highlights in game. i turned on all the options i could and everything looked normal and flat.

the joystick input works well its preconfigured quite well. the problem is, it doesn't accept joystick input as activity so my monitors would kept getting turned off because i hand't moved the mouse.

The fact that the announcer in the tutorial was speaking russian made the game a bit hard to follow. :) It had english text but russian audio.

The physics are as real as youll get (I think) Its very hard at first to actually manage to get to your taget without overshooting them by a few thousand miles (and subsequently smack into the station while you arc round to have a go at them again)

The battles are nice, and seeing the ships break up into tiny peices which all keep going with the momentum is rather cool. Oh, dont attack things head on, youll either crash or the ai will make a meal out of you with missiles.

Is English a second language for the devs of this one? There's an awful lot of glaring mistakes in the readme file that comes up after installing...

Ah... here's a giveaway:

The ships themselves don't look as realistic as the backdrops, they kinda have a comic-book but not cell-shaded look to them.
