I think it's a testament to just how good the original looked that these don't look a whole lot better. How could they?

I'm looking forward to this game, but I really hope it's not as freaky hard as the first one.

They really didn't upgrade the graphics. A nicer engine tail would be nice. Hows the gameplay? HW1 was a blast.

I am not impressed at all.
I am not sure why...
Is it lame yellow background? Only average ship design? Crappy effects?

Looks terrific to say the least but, I don't know, for some reason Homeworld just didn't do it for me. I guess it's because of the way resource collecting was handled in the original. Once a mission is finished, all remaining resoures in a particular sector should be automatically collected. Leaving my PC for half an hour so my resource collectors could gather up everything available was pretty boring.

Ok is alex garden(the one who thought up homeworld) still at relic? I thought he left the company for microsoft to create impossible creatures?

BTW I am so looking forward to this game. Maybe we will see the Big Bad Betusi again. those fuckers were awesome
