SimCity 4 Day (Early!)

56
Although the official website and PR's we've gotten have been shooting for January 14th, a number of reports have come in that SimCity4 is indeed available on a few different shelves around the US right now. To be specific, we've gotten 3 different EB reports in central and west coast, and a couple guys on the east coast saying the pre-orders have come in for the special edition.

Sure could use a demo of this game! Cant say I've really been thrilled with the last couple of SimCity games, but you always gotta hold out hope?

i only played it for 16 hours today..... woops

harder than hell to balance the budget compared with 3000, but i guess it's realistic...

crashed once in that period, found a few bugs (including a beautiful showstopper) that i guess i'll need to report to maxis on monday-whatever. thanks for ruining Maxis like you do with everything else, EA.

why do people blame EA ? EA pays the dev group and publishs the game. How is it their fault ?

EA tends to push schedules pretty hard.

If they didn't, developers wouldn't get the game out the door. Anyone seen Team Fortress 2 or Duke Nukem Forever?

yea.. but I've worked on a team where EA was the publisher..and they push HARD.

You really can't argue with their business strategy. They're #1 in the industry for a reason.
